Mentor emerging Black & Caribbean dance artists and facilitators; providing meaningful work opportunities through our Training and Performance Team
We are currently casting for the upcoming season of our Carnival Spice Training & Performance Team. This team offers a supportive environment that allows for personal and professional growth; combining direct immersion into the performance industry, paid initiation into the professional world, and personalized visibility for each dancer.
This opportunity is ideal for someone who:
Has a passion for dance and/or Caribbean Carnival!
Is reliable and has a strong work ethic
Has an ability to adapt to different genres of music & and social settings
Has a desire to be a part of a dynamic team and supportive environment
Must live in Toronto, Ontario (Canada)
Experience in Caribbean, Hip Hop or Latin dance performance is an asset
Group fitness or personal training certification is an asset
A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle is an asset but not required

The candidate would be working closely with our Artistic Director to complete general administrative tasks related to email communications and marketing initiatives (including social media, special event support).
